Terms & Conditions
 

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all travel packages, tours, golf trips, accommodation bookings, transport arrangements, and related services provided by Pinseeker Travels NZ ("we", "us", "our").

By accepting a quotation, paying a deposit, or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Quotations and Pricing

All advertised prices, website prices, brochures, promotional materials, and package examples are indicative only and are not guaranteed prices.

Final pricing may vary based on factors including, but not limited to:

  • Travel dates and seasonal demand

  • Group size

  • Availability of accommodation, transport, golf courses, and activities

  • Exchange rate fluctuations

  • Supplier price changes

  • Additional services, upgrades, or optional extras requested

A formal written quotation provided by Pinseeker Travels NZ will specify the applicable pricing for your requested travel arrangements.

Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid for 14 days from the date issued and are subject to availability at the time of booking.
 

3. Booking Confirmation

A booking is not confirmed until:

  • The client has accepted the quotation;

  • Any required deposit has been paid; and

  • Pinseeker Travels NZ has issued written confirmation.

Availability cannot be guaranteed until confirmation has been issued.
 

4. Deposits and Payments

A deposit may be required to secure travel arrangements.

The deposit amount and payment schedule will be specified in your quotation or invoice.

Full payment must be received by the due date stated on the invoice.

Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and the loss of any deposit paid.
 

5. Price Changes

While we endeavour to honour quoted prices, we reserve the right to amend pricing prior to final confirmation where supplier costs, taxes, fees, fuel surcharges, exchange rates, or other unavoidable external costs change.

Where a significant price change occurs before confirmation, clients will be advised and given the opportunity to accept the revised price or cancel without penalty.
 

6. Cancellations by the Client

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Cancellation fees may apply and will depend on:

  • The timing of cancellation;

  • Supplier cancellation policies;

  • Non-refundable deposits or prepaid services.

Any refunds will be subject to deductions for costs already incurred or charged by suppliers.
 

7. Changes Requested by the Client

Requests to amend travel dates, accommodation, transport, golf bookings, activities, or passenger numbers may result in additional charges.

All changes are subject to availability and supplier approval.
 

8. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, personal belongings, travel delays, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Pinseeker Travels NZ accepts no responsibility for losses that would otherwise be covered by travel insurance.
 

9. Supplier Responsibility

Pinseeker Travels NZ acts as an agent and organiser for services provided by third-party suppliers including airlines, accommodation providers, golf clubs, transport operators, and activity providers.

We are not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, service failures, or insolvency of third-party suppliers.

All services remain subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier.
 

10. Force Majeure

Pinseeker Travels NZ shall not be liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Severe weather events

  • Government restrictions

  • Pandemics or public health emergencies

  • Industrial disputes

  • Transport disruptions

  • Acts of terrorism

  • Civil unrest

Additional costs arising from such events may be payable by the traveller.
 

11. Traveller Responsibilities

Travellers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate booking information;

  • Ensuring they hold valid travel documentation;

  • Meeting all passport, visa, health, and entry requirements;

  • Arriving at scheduled departure points on time;

  • Complying with supplier rules and local laws.

Any costs arising from a traveller's failure to meet these obligations are the traveller's responsibility.
 

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Pinseeker Travels NZ shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss, damage, expense, or inconvenience arising from travel arrangements or services provided by third parties.

Our total liability shall be limited to the amount paid directly to Pinseeker Travels NZ for the relevant booking.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under New Zealand consumer law.
 

13. Privacy

Any personal information collected by Pinseeker Travels NZ will be used solely for the purpose of arranging and managing travel bookings and will be handled in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy laws.
 

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
 

15. Golf Course Bookings and Tee Times

Pinseeker Travels NZ specialises in arranging golf travel experiences; however, all golf course bookings, tee times, tournaments, and related services are subject to the terms, conditions, availability, and operational decisions of the respective golf clubs and facilities.

While we will use reasonable endeavours to secure requested tee times and golf bookings, we cannot guarantee specific tee times, course access, playing conditions, cart availability, practice facilities, or other golf-related services.

Golf clubs reserve the right to:

  • Alter tee times;

  • Restrict course access;

  • Close all or part of a course;

  • Implement maintenance programmes;

  • Modify course conditions;

  • Cancel bookings due to weather, tournaments, events, safety concerns, or operational requirements.
     

Pinseeker Travels NZ shall not be liable for any loss, disappointment, additional costs, or consequential damages arising from changes made by golf clubs or circumstances beyond our control.

Where a golf club cancels or significantly alters a booking, we will endeavour to arrange a suitable alternative where possible; however, any additional costs incurred may be payable by the traveller.

Refunds relating to golf bookings will be subject to the cancellation and refund policies of the relevant golf club or supplier.

16. Acceptance

Acceptance of a quotation, payment of a deposit, or payment of an invoice constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
